Much Ado About Nothing
This series of small hand-built ceramic sculptures are made without a preconceived concept. They are crafted with a blank mind exploring absolutely nothing. The form made by doodling hands has no purpose, no meaning, no content, and therefore it represents nothing. The form does not speak through colour and the intricate textures are merely haphazard turnings of the meditative mind. This is an attempt to craft without making art. All ‘little nothings’ are made with cone 6 porcelain.
